Description: This older pension was across from the Hotel Status but was much quieter at night because it was in a residential area. The morning was a different story since there was a rooster somewhere in the neighbourhood who wanted to make sure everyone knew the sun was coming up - just doing his job, I guess. Our room was large with lots of wood trim and a large closet cupboard with extra blankets and pillows. The blankets were Turkish made and very warm. We had a double bed and private bathroom with shower. A small balcony outside had room on which to sit & have a drink and there was a small clothesline for laundry. In the lobby was a small lending library and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast (incl. in price) was served in the outdoor courtyard in the front of the pension and included bread, jam, tomatoes, feta, hard boiled eggs and olives - pretty much standard for Turkey.
It was about a 5 minute walk to the harbour area where there were lots of restaurants. The area behind and further along from the pension was residential and offered another view into daily life in Fethiye.
