Sizerville State Park

Many campgrounds are big fields where masses of campers and tents are crammed together. Sizerville is not one of those. This camping area is nestled in the shade of the thick woods.

The camping lots are large and somewhat private. There are a few that you need to walk into, so they are strictly for tents. Those are my favorites of the camping locations. Though they are a further walk to the restroom and shower, they are nestled beside a small steam where the kids can catch crawfish and wade in the cool water.

This is a nice, peaceful camping area that offers picnic tables, hiking trails, an outdoor pool, and lots of room for biking.
