We stayed at the Takkas Apartments, about a five minute walk (sober) to the centre of Napa and a 30 minute walk (at least) on you're way back at 5am from the night spots!
The apartments were basic, but that is what we wanted, just somewhere to stay. Food at the hotel was more than adequate with a selection of meals available. The main focus as always was the bar, which was literally open 24 hour -- drinks were cheap and good just before heading out of the hotel.
