Hotel Breakers
The rooms in this hotel are fairly old, except for in the newer wing, which is priced accordingly. The older side is a really good deal. It is not much more expensive to stay at the resort on the island than it is to stay off the island in a Holiday Inn or something. It is a great location right next to the beach, Soak City, Adventure Park, and Cedar Point.

Everything at Hotel Breakers was very clean and upscale, and it was very convenient to the park - we even got to go in an hour early. We had a nice dinner at one of the restaurants (Italian), but the TGI Fridays was extremely crowded. The hotel is on a beach, which was nicer than I had expected, and my boyfriend and I enjoyed a great nighttime walk on it. Overall, Hotel Breakers had a historic feel, but with a perfect location and awesome hotel rooms. (If you are looking for a budget hotel, though, this is not it!)
