This is an active winery located just outside Montalcino on the road to Sant’Antimo Abbey. There are several apartments available, and all have a kitchen, bathroom with shower, and bedroom. Some have living room/dining room and a fireplace. All were more than adequate and clean. There is parking. It is family-operated by the mother, father, son, daughter, and grandparents. They spoke English and were very hospitable. The farmhouse is about 2km from Montalcino, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. There is an outside pool, a covered terrace, a shaded garden, and a shop that sells products of the farm. The owner teaches a cooking class in the conference room, and then that night a meal is served with all the wine. Outstanding. It is in an excellent location. A coffee pot is a thing of beauty, and it takes practice to get to use. This is a great place.
