We stayed at the luxurious Kauai Marriott in Hawaii. This island is very quiet and tropical. If you like to just relax on the beach, this is the perfect destination. There are some beautiful strip malls with all kinds of pub-style, Italian and, even Thai food. We drove through Kauai all the way down to the farthest shore, and it was simply breathtaking. You can pullover and look over the waterfalls and scenery. The PERFECT ROMANCE ISLAND!!!!

The Kauai Marriott is a beautiful, if somewhat opulent resort hotel. Definitely impressive in terms of grandeur and luxury, this is one of the Hawaiian ''super resorts''. The pool alone takes up some 35,000 square feet! Everything seems immense and gradiose. There are courtyards, balconies overlooking the pool and the ocean, jacuzzis, bars, restaurants, shops, tennis courts, a golf course, etc... It's all very contrived but well done and it certainly succeeds at being a relaxing, indulgent, aesthetically pleasing place to stay.
