We advise you NOT to stay there now. In our week at the house, we had a TV with no remote, dirt and debris in every room, a refrigerator with the handle torn off, a phone with no cord (no, not cordless!), a sofa with bugs in it, and no closet to use -- and the weekly rate was NOT cheap!! The "sumptuous breakfasts" were three small frozen pancakes out of a box, a hard fried egg, and a donut.

Despite our and others' complaints, none of the items above were fixed while we were there, and the hostess/owner was indifferent to the guests. She seems to have lost interest in what used to be a wonderful place according to the photo albums in the lobby.

There are many other good choices along the St. Augustine Beach road, motels on the beach, B&B's, etc., all very convenient to the city in just a few minutes. Just don't choose the House of Sea and Sand.
