Lagoon-view rooms had a view of the landscaping, and the only water visible from the room was the pool. Maybe on the upper decks there might actually be a "lagoon view." If it can be afforded, stay in the over-the-water bungalows. Room service was friendly, but one should not have to acquire ice through room service at $12 a pop (just for ice). The lobby was beautiful and the main restaurant is open-air, with a koi pond next to the table area. The OTW's were very nice, and with the shutters open, the breeze and sounds of the surprisingly loud surf was very relaxing. The pier on which the OTW's are located has a great observation area at the end that, at night, made for great stargazing, and during the day, would lend itself as a spot to feed bread to the fish.
