My sister and I stayed here two years ago on our trip to England. The service was unfriendly, the beds were disgusting (we were very glad that we brought our own hostel sheets with us!), there was a ton of mold in the shower and there was a super bright floodlight on right outside our window all night long. It was also very loud - I suppose from the bar downstairs.....Besides all that, the walls sort of hurt your eyes to look at - they were painted so brightly!

I don't think I would stay in Glastonbury again. It's a neat town to browse through on an afternoon or something, but our experience wasn't very positive over all.

Glastonbury Backpackers is a 16th-century coaching inn called the Crown Hotel located in the center of town. With a friendly staff and a social atmosphere, it's a great place to stay if you're traveling alone. In addition to the traditional dorm-style rooms, there are also single and double rooms available, as well as weekly and monthly rates.

There is a cafe on the premises with decent snacks and sandwiches at fair prices. Because of its central location, the pub is usually fairly busy and on Thursdays, live bands play.
