Best Things About the Resort:
Friendly staff, great amenities, extremely clean
Resort Experience:
My wife and I took this trip for a quiet weekend getaway. We do not ski, although talking to people there, it would seem the skiing is great. We went the second week in Nov, right before ski season and right after foilage. The place was not busy at all, which is exactly what we wanted. We got alot of attention from the very courteous staff.
There was a ton of parking in the underground heating garage. We had a studio which was extremely clean and came with everything you would need in a kitchen (pots, pans, dw), surround sound DVD player, fireplace, and jacuzzi.
The hotel had a resturant, not priced too badly for a hotel restarant. Food was very good. There is a great bar and lounge with a stone fireplace and another lounge across the room. It had a health club, with free use of one indoor/two outdoor hot tubs (great at night when it is below freezing outside), indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, and steam room.
We spent two days just visiting the small towns in VT. We got ourselves plenty of maple syrup and cheese. The rest of the time, we just relaxed at the resort. Okemo.com is a great website to find out all about the area.
