Each morning, we were greeted by flocks of green parrots, red-breasted tweetie birds of some type, black birds with brilliant yellow wings, and an occasional egret! All flew right past our front living area or to a tree outside our bedroom window - it was a sight to behold. In the evenings, you fell asleep to the sound of the ocean waves crashing. If the skies are clear, which they usually are during this season, you can see an abundance of stars that most of us city-dwellers do not know exist. The house had a full kitchen and a beautiful open-air shower, and it was beautifully decorated with the floral artwork of Mother Nature. It seemed like every color of flower, vine, and bougainvillea of the region surrounded our little tarzan hut on the hill. If you don't mind a 15-minute easy walk into town, this is a spot NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!!
