The Henry Farm Inn was built in the late 1700s as a stop on the stage coach route from Boston to Montreal. There are seven large rooms each with private bath and views of snow covered fields and hills. Throughout, there is evidence of the inn''s history: wide pine floorboards, fireplaces (alas, not all are operative - a prior owner closed up many of them to reduce heat losses) and the first bathtub in Chester VT (no longer operative either!). The inn is owned and operated by the Dexters, hospitable and customer oriented hosts who serve an excellent breakfast. If you plan to ski Okemo two days inquire about the ski and stay package.
