Pannonia Hotel Aachen

This is a very modern hotel, not big on charm but with all the ammenities. The beds had good firm mattresses, and there was a shower and a tub. Good reading lights and large windows. The people at the desk were very helpful in getting us settled and giving us directions. They have an indoor parking garage that costs 12.5 DM a night but it was worth it. Breakfast was included and it was a very nice buffet, all the usual things boiled eggs, bread, cheese, meat, yogurt, coffee, tea (a very nice selection) and hot chocolate. This was a last minute choice for us , so we settled for less charm and more convience. It is located about 8 or 10 blocks from the cathedral, so for the price it's a good choice.
