I was looking for a very relaxing weekend before being in the audience of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Monday. I am disabled and was looking for the best accommodations for the handicapped. I also wanted a room with two beds since my son was traveling with me. I also was looking for a smoking room since my son smokes and I wished for him to be accommodated during this trip. We arrived late on Friday night, only to find out that we had a king-size bed, so my son had to sleep on a very uncomfortable rollaway bed with the springs pushing every part of your body as you sleep. I was advised that there were no smoking rooms at this hotel but that each room had a patio where he could go out on in the cold and smoke anytime he wished. After spending an extra $35 a night to have the right accommodations, I was truly angry. I had called the night before to see if they had a shower chair. They said that they had up me in the handicapped room so that should be okay.. Well, there was no shower chair, so I still had to stand up to shower and do it quickly due to my weakened state. I was just very disappointed in the accommodations. I would not stay there again.
