Best Things Nearby:
Beach, shops, restaurants, and gorgeous scenery

Best Things About the Resort:
Comfortable surroundings and the great staff

Resort Experience:
The beach was great for strolling, even though it was windy (November). There were lots of shops and restaurants to choose from and a Safeway very close by. The two-bedroom unit was just right for our family of six, and fixing Thanksgiving dinner there was great! The office staff was very helpful! The skiing wasn't the greatest, but we'd have to blame that on Mother Nature this time. The boys did get some time on the slopes but wished for better weather.

Lake Tahoe is right out your front door. Safeway is across the street, Lanza's Restaurant and Las Panchitas Mexican Restaurant, Squaw Valley tram and dinner.

Best Things About the Resort:
Family friendly, right on the lake, friendly staff dedicated to your satisfaction!

Resort Experience:
Small complex, 32 units right on the lake! Pier to walk out on. You can use the resort's beach or take a 3-minute drive to the sister property and enjoy a much larger beach. Perfect for a family getaway. Our kids can't wait to return.

Best Things Nearby:
There were great ski resorts nearby, like Squaw Valley, Northstar at Tahoe, Mount Rose, and Alpine Meadows. It was also very close to a Safeway food store, a great Italian restaurant, and best of all, the lake!

Best Things About the Resort:
The resort was very close to Highway 267 from Reno and right on Highway 28. The staff was also very friendly. We had great views of the lake from our room.

Resort Experience:
The resort doesn't look like much from the highway because the units face the lake in a u-shape form. Parking is tough when there’s a lot of snow; it’s very tight. The office was kind of tough to see because of all the snow. You had to park and follow the plowed sidewalks.

The place was very nice - clean but too small for a two-bedroom. There were great views of the lake. The place only had one washer and two dryers in the laundry room, which was okay, if you did your wash at night. We didn't have a problem with that, but if you had more people in your room, it could be a problem.

We got a two-bedroom private unit with a full kitchen. Well, the most people you could fit in this two-bedroom was only about four. That’s if it was two couples. It would also be okay for three guys, one in each room and one on sofa, but it still would be crowded. I went with only one of my friends. If I would have brought my wife and child, it would have been crowded. It was prefect for just the two of us, so if you’re thinking about coming here and you want a lot of room for a two-bedroom, forget it, but the unit was very clean and was decorated nicely. The only thing that looked old was the tile in the bathrooms and kitchen. It also had great views out the living room window. Please check out the pictures I have of the room.

  • Unit Type: 2 Bedroom
  • Activities: Fair
  • Amenities: Good
  • Unit Satisfaction: Very Good
  • Family Friendliness: Very Good

This was a great resort if you are bringing your family. We had a two-bedroom unit. The second bedroom was upstairs, along with a second bathroom. We had a nice kitchen in our unit also.

The resort was right on the water and had a wonderful beach. It was very family oriented. I also liked that it was directly across the street from a grocery store. We were there a week, so we shopped for groceries.

I recommend September if you want some warm weather. It was around 65-70 degrees daily. Perfect.

Our resort was on the north end of Lake Tahoe, which was perfect if you don't want to be in the tourist part of the lake. It only took us 30 minutes to get to the south end of the lake, which has a lot of shops and a few casinos. We drove a lot because everywhere seems to have a view. I have to say I never felt so healthy as I did when we were in Lake Tahoe. Don't miss going there.

Best Things Nearby:
24-hr Safeway grocery (Very New) and private beach.

Best Things About the Resort:
Location. Friendly staff. Very Quiet and Private. Wide-open private beach with a walking pier out ON the lake.

Resort Experience:
Saturday units are best. We had a one-bedroom end unit looking out on the lake. We could sit on the kitchen table and had a breakfast looking out on the lake and a very small children’s playground. Incredible lake view. One-bedroom unit was very small, but very clean. If you would like to get away from it all, this resort is for you. Great for a family with small kids. Close to North Tahoe ski resorts. We were frequenting the Squaw Valley from the resort.
