Best Things Nearby:
Beautiful scenery!

Best Things About the Resort:
Wonderful, organized, adult activities -- adult karaoke was a blast!

Resort Experience:
Units are huge and very clean. TV in master bath was a treat.

In-house taxi shuttle service is new -- just call on phone to have polite staff pick you up in golf carts and take anywhere in the resort. We parked our van and were chauffeured everywhere within the resort for free.

There were lots of things to do at the resort -- must go up to Rumrunner's Hideaway. My family loved the water trampoline in the lake (picture of trampoline on lake on web page). The resort built a new two-tier deck with chairs so you can relax and enjoy the views of the lake.

Best Things Nearby:
Ben and Jerrys, Cabot Cheese, Maple Sugaring houses when in season.

Best Things About the Resort:
Very spacious, master bedroom down one end of the condo and other bedroom down the on the end, so if you have kids it is private.

Resort Experience:
Very comfortable, lots of windows to let the light in and sitting room. Outside deck. Kitchen is small but most of them are small. All the untensils that you need to cook are here too.

Best Things Nearby:
Miller's Family Farm, and the Cabot Creamery and Visitors Center.

Best Things About the Resort:
So much to do!

Resort Experience:
This was our second summer at Smuggs. Our unit is in Sycamores, which isn't in "the village." It's a bit quieter here, but they do have a community center. There's a small gym here with weights, treadmill, bicycle, universal, and a stepper machine. There is also a game room with two ping pong tables, two pool tables, and a video game. Outside the community center is a swimming pool and a disappearing fountain pool for the kids.

What we liked best is all the activities. They have adult programs, children's programs and lots of swimming pools. We thought our four-year-old daughter would love all the different things to do. Last summer, we got to do a few more of the evening events than we did this year. Our daughter was just so tired this year, she sacked out most nights about 8pm, so we just hung out and read books we had brought. Last summer, we also got to do a few more activities around the resort than we did this year. This summer, our week turned out to be a rainy one and if it wasn't raining or drizzling out, it was too cool for swimming. This gave us a chance to explore a bit outside the resort. We went to the Miller's Family Farm and the Cabot Creamery and Visitors Center. We hope to get to one of the nearby wineries on our next visit and maybe get to do some horseback riding or snowmobiling.

Best Things Nearby:
BEN & JERRY'S, lots of restaurants, nice novelty shops, a big outlet shopping center. Driving through the Notch itself is very exciting, but you can only go in the summertime, as they close the Notch in the winter.

Best Things About the Resort:
A washer and dryer in the unit. A fully furnished kitchen. A fireplace. A deck and patio. Lots of storage. A big open kitchen and living room. Nice second bath in the master bedroom. Cable TV, free videos at the office.

Resort Experience:
Warm, friendly, comfortable . . . just like coming home. Lots of staff around to help out or guide you. Very friendly and pleasant with something going on at the resort every night rain or shine. This resort won't allow you to be bored or get cabin fever. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the entrance to the unit -- I found it a little dark and small, but other than that, the unit is bright and wide open. I would go back in a heartbeat for the summer fun, the winter skiing, or the quiet mid seasons.

Ski trails, basketball court, on site grocery/movies, indoor pool, outdoor pool, mini golf!

Best Things About the Resort:
Brand new unit -- very clean and very very nice!

Resort Experience:
This was the perfect place to take the kids for Easter break. Although it snowed, we took our winter gear and went sledding on the hills, rode our bikes on dry days, and had a blast. We had ping pong tournaments and swam to our hearts' content!
