Best Things Nearby:
On-site skiing, family apres-ski winter activities, dining and excellent childcare facility.

Best Things About the Resort:
Ski-on/ski-off condo and everything was on-site.

Resort Experience:
The resort is away from nearby towns, so we brought most of our groceries with us. The condo was well-stocked with everything you would need to have a party or be able to cook a full meal. They had a well-stocked, reasonably priced convenience store. All condos are near the slopes for easy access, great family activities and theme nights, skating rink, fun zone for kids, indoor pool and hot tubs. Excellent, brand-new childcare facility (our son is 2 1/2). Several restaurants on-site to choose from - had a great dinner at Hearth & Candle. We had a great time!

Best Things Nearby:
Pool and gym area.

Best Things About the Resort:
Large, airy rooms. Enough kitchen appliances in the pantry area. Master bedroom away from the other bedrooms.

Resort Experience:
The resort itself was in between seasons, so it was not crowded. The shuttle had not started to run because it was the off-season. That was ok because we were in the Sycamores, located near the heated outdoor pool and activity/gym room.

The view was breathtaking. We even had a picnic one day! It's just a short ride to the main area, where the indoor pool and shops are located. A really neat thing is the plastic bags in the locker rooms for those wet bathing suits!

The employees are great and seem to really enjoy themselves at the Smugglers.

We would visit again. Since we like less crowded times of the year, we will probably do a late spring visit before things pick up for the summer season.

The setup of the unit is great. My husband and I had a room away from the other two bedrooms, thereby giving everyone their privacy. Everything you need to make yourself at home is in the unit. The appliances were all up-to-date models and a great thing was one large binder with all the manuals for the operation of the various appliances. This is a really great convenience as you have all the manuals in one location.

Since this is the winter, make sure you have the winter directions. That was the only snag in our trip. We had the directions from RCI, it said the notch was closed at first snow, but we didn't know that it had already snowed in VT; therefore, we met up with the road closure signs. We did find a gas station still opened (most things close early, so beware!) and got directions to get around the mountain.

The views were breathtaking. We were in the Sycamores, right across from the pool and activity rooms. The unit had a lot of windows, so you were able to get a panoramic view of the mountains.

This is truly luxury, where you can fill the hot tub and relax while watching your favorite TV show in the master bathroom. This is the first timeshare that we have had that feature.

The area is full of Kodak moments. From the covered bridges, to the hillsides, waterfalls, and quaint towns, there's a Kodak moment just waiting for that click of the camera's button.

The condo was clean and roomy, and maid service was very good. This was a very romantic spot for my nephew and his bride--would go back anytime.
