The shopping center is one quarter mile from this resort and looks all new. The Disney Wild Life Interpretive Center is right near the shopping center. Look for signs.
Best Things About the Resort:
The heated olympic size pool seems hidden behind a wall of overgrown vines. A playful raccoon scampered around in one corner of the enclosed pool area. Tennis courts available.
Resort Experience:
The cluster of condos around a center parking lot looked very Spanish. The Alhambra in Granada Spain would have looked quite comfortable near this setting of tan stucco buildings with vine covered stairs and archways. Once inside it was new, clean, comfortable, and roomy. February chill gave way to warm tropical weather and we were able to open the sliding glass doors in the living room and bedroom to the linai.
A new golf course has been established further down the road, so the old one behind our unit was a great place for a quiet walk. Sun Cruz Casino told us to go to the Clairion Resort near the corner of Poinciana Blvd. and Rt. 192 and make reservations. It cost $8 for the round trip bus ride to Port Canaveral,
dinner, and $5 in free gambling tokens.
