This is a great bed and breakfast in downtown Bar Harbor. The couple that runs it are very friendly, and tremendously knowledgable of the town, and the park. They have a great dog also! No smoking, no pets. They will cater to any dietary needs with no problems. Make sure you try the Gingerbread pancakes, they are fantastic! The rooms are fairly small on the third floor but they are priced reasonably, and decorated well. The skylights over the bed are a cool touch for star gazing. Plenty of common area to unwind in. They have a lot of reading material on the local area also (hiking/biking guides, etc.) They also have a recreated english pub within the house! But don''t expect a beer- they are soley wine and tea types.
