Happy with stay here

Quote: No complaints here. Room was bigger than normal. We were on 2nd floor away from highway, had zero problems with traffic noise. The continental breakfast was "as advertised". Waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. Bed was not as... Read the full Laurel Inn Motel review

Perfect for the price!

Quote: We were wedding location hunting in Carmel and we just needed a place to crash...I was actually kind of surprised on the quality of the hotel! For that price, I was expecting just the basics - but there were extra amenities like an iron and ironing... Read the full Laurel Inn Motel review

Nice motel for a good price

  • 4 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • March 13, 2011
Quote: We piled 7 adults in 2 rooms. No "extra person" charges. Breakfast was good. The rooms were comfortable & clean, even the bathrooms. (no mold or crud in the shower tiles.)

Overrated, Poor service, noisy

Quote: Wife and I stayed 2 nights, many disturbances and the staff was not kind in addressing the disturbances. A lot of "rift-raft" guests here. Pay a little more and stay elsewhere.

Loved this place

  • 5 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • February 3, 2011
Quote: My family and I had reserved two rooms for a night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This place didn't feel like a motel. The rooms were large and the bathrooms were very clean. Had a wonderful stay.

Nice location.

Pleasantly surprised for the price paid.

Quote: We were quite happy with the value of this hotel. The hot tub was nice, we didn't try the swimming pool. The room was a decent size and well kept. The location was close to other restaurants and fast food. It was a bit of a drive to monterey, but... Read the full Laurel Inn Motel review

Not as great as advertised

  • 3 out of 5 stars A traveler from Travelocity.com
  • January 27, 2011
Quote: The owners keep this motel fairly clean, but it is certainly not the shangri-la other reviewers make it out to be. The place is old and the electrical system in particular doesn't work very well. The heater went out, then the fuse blew in the... Read the full Laurel Inn Motel review
