I checked several B&Bs with the idea of where I want to stay for a return trip and this one is my pick of the litter. It is right on Main Street, has beautiful Victorian style rooms and has a saloon. What more could you want? The stairs are steep so it is not accessible for someone who uses a wheelchair. That is always a problem with really old buildings. Not to worry about the 'old' part, this building has been substantially reinforced with modern concrete and it not likely to go sliding down Cleopatra's hill any time soon.
Book as far in advance as you can as this B&B is extremely popular during holidays such as Halloween (you can't even imagine what Jerome is like on that holiday!) and fine weather as it is only a 90-minute drive from Phoenix and Scottsdale. It is close enough to use as a base for doing day tours to the Grand Canyon.
Telephone to ask about special weekend deals that are as inexpensive as $75 per couple including dinner on Saturday night.
