A elegant Victorian set on a side street outside the central part of Chico. 'The Grateful Bed' is very close to both Chico State University and the hospital. The house was reclaimed from near ruin by the current owners who vested much time and money into the rehabilitation of this house. Ask them about their rehab experiences! The entire house was updated and is immaculately kept.
We stayed in the 'Suite Dreams' room. It was very large and featured a cast iron tub as well as a shower.
The breakfasts were magnificent! Perhaps the best breakfasts I ever had! White chocolate scones, pancakes with fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, and much more! I would highly recommend this B&B based on the breakfast alone! It was that good!
