In spite of its low-price band, I found this an ideal place to stay and would have no hesitation about using it again. There is a lift and the bathrooms are en suite. Facilities are good and beds are very comfortable.
There is a restaurant attached which is perfectly good for breakfast, though it did not tempt me for my evening meals. However there is an Italian restaurant just opposite, which was highly praised by the very helpful tourist office. I have no doubt it merited the praise but why eat Italian in Spain?
The Imperio is also close to Zocodover, the main square where the buses from the train and the bus stations put you down and where the touristmobile starts its trip. Near here are any number of Spanish eating places!
Alternatively, you can start a walk from here among some of the less busy areas of the town.
