The town of Healdsburg has a delightful, old fashioned square in the middle and on the square you will find the equally delightful, old fashioned Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza.
Kind of a cross between Bed and Breakfast and Hotel, the Inn has 10 rooms and a carriage house. Each has it's own cute little name (Hearts and Flowers, Stardance, Moonbeams...) Some have a fireplace, most a clawfoot tub and/or shower, fourposter beds, thick down comfortors, antique furnishings, and all have a rubber ducky.
A huge gormet breakfast is served in a bright cheery breakfast room, complete with chirping fake bird in a cage. In the evening complimentary wine is provided. And fresh cookies are always available.
During peak times and most weekends there is a two night minimum.
