When we first visited, inkeeper Lorraine Lewis had just purchased the hotel. She continues to expand ammenities, such as whirlpool baths. Her latest addition is a restored caboose (located on an adjoining lot), which she has transformed into a luxurous suite.
For train buffs, she has designated one room as the "railroad room" and decorated it with railroad wallpaper and original old railroad documents.
During the winter off-season (December-Valentine''s Day), she includes a four-course candlelight dinner with the room. During the regular season, she serves a full breakfast to all guests.
