Best Things Nearby:
If you like skiing, there's Wildcat Mountain, Attitash Bear Peak, Cranmore Mountain and Bretton Woods all within 30 minutes.

If you like to fish, canoe, kayak, and hike, there are opportunities throughout the White Mountains region.

StoryLand children's amusement park and Heritage New Hampshire are within a 10-minute drive of the resort.

Factory Outlet shopping is within 20 minutes in North Conway, NH for sales-tax-free shopping!

Golfing is available throughout the White Mountains region for practicing up on your putting or long drives!

Best Things About the Resort:
The Wildcat Townhouse Resort is a small timeshare resort with only 10 units. There is a good demand for the timeshares because they offer so many amenities not found in many timeshare resort locations. Every unit contains a sauna bath, a whirlpool tub and a washer/dryer combo, in addition to the full-service kitchen area, oversized living room and 2.5 bathrooms. While the unit is listed as a two-bedroom, there is a third level loft area with two additional twin beds. All of the comforts of home while away on vacation. These units sleep eight people without overcrowding.

The units are not fancy, but comfortable. There are TVs in the master bedroom and the living room. Appliances have been updated with new equipment throughout.

Resort Experience:
Wildcat Townhouse Resort is conveniently located in Jackson, New Hampshire. There is an in-ground heated pool in the resort activity building. There is also a pool table and other games in the game room of the activity building. There are propane gas BBQ grills outside the units, swings for the kids, and badminton and other games for summer activities.

The resort is located within 5 minutes of Wildcat Mountain and Attitash Bear Peak for winter skiing. In the summer, Wildcat Mountain offers gondola rides and summer hiking, while Attitash Bear Peak has a giant slide ride and water slides. Also nearby is New England's tallest peak, Mount Washington, for hiking or a drive to the top.

If you are a golfer, then there are some great golf courses nearby for 9 to 18 holes, including the North Conway Country Club, one of the oldest golf courses in the USA. If you prefer hiking, then the area is part of the Mount Washington Valley and the White Mountain National Forest region. If you prefer kayaking or canoeing, then there are river locations throughout the area.

Of course, New Hampshire is a sales-tax-free state! There are factory outlet centers in North Conway (just minutes away) that offer everything from clothing, to china, to pots and pans, to sports equipment, to whatever you are in the mood to buy!

For the spring and summer, there is great hiking, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, camping, golfing, and nearby StoryLand children's park. The autumn brings incredible foliage viewing with awesome colors of red, yellow and orange in the birch, oak and maple trees. The winter is ideal for downhill and cross-country skiing and for snowshoeing.

An abundance of great dining opportunities are nearby for those who need a break from cooking in the timeshare resort kitchen. Enjoy all your favorites, from home-style cooking, to Italian, Mexican, Chinese and New England seafood favorites.

The Townhouse iself was roomy and spacious; modern, yet rustic. The beautiful White Mountain scenery made up for the lack of resort amenities; which consisted of an indoor pool, a game room, and one old rusty swing(the"playground"), which my kids fought over. Two very small bedrooms and a loft with two twin beds. The loft was cute, but only accessed by steep stairways, and became very hot in the evenings.

Best Things Nearby:
Mount Washington, numerous ski hills, wide variety of outlet shopping. Storyland and Santa's Village are a must for families with children under ten (very clean and well organized).

Best Things About the Resort:
Very large units (over three levels with a loft at the top level), relatively well equipped. Adjacent to main road which leads though Mount Washington Valley. The resort is surrounded by tall trees and mountains.

Resort Experience:
This timeshare resort is very small (a total of three small blocks of townhouse units on a small property) and secluded. Besides the small indoor pool, there is nothing to do on site so you have to take your car to travel a fair distance to get to any other tourist sites.

Alhtough this resort is in the middle of a forest in the Mount Washington Valley, there are no mountain views due to the tall trees surrounding the site.

If you like seclusion and don't mind using the car on a daily basis during your vacation, this is the place for you.
