I didn't actually stay at Twiga Lodge but spent quite a lot of time in its bar and restaurant as it's very close to Tiwi Villas. Twiga is another budget option, but unlike Tiwi Villas you can camp there (for about £1.50 /$2.75 per night) and they have very basic hotel type rooms as well as some cottages, if I remember rightly. I'm told that there is a small, reasonably well stocked shop and I found that the restaurant served good food at a reasonable price. See dining entry for more information on eating here.
As with Tiwi Villas, it's not the kind of place you'd take a family, but if your accustomed to budget accommodation it's fine. Twiga has also been plagued by thefts recently so be careful with your money and travellers cheques.
