A couple of very good restaurants within 200 m and picturesque harbor and archeological site with fantastic ancient mosaics only 2 km away.
Resort Experience:
All units have very small bathrooms, room not enough even for a single person. We saw a number of cockroaches there upon arrival.
Absolutely NO TV programs in English were available despite a couple of satellite TV antennas on the roof.
A small pool looked promising, but it was too cold to swim in it (in a second week of the red season!). We were told no water heating had been provided at all and one had to wait for warmer weather. Honest to say, we envy people in adjacent resorts swimming in their pools and enjoying themselves.
Laundry was not available initially, on a second day after our application one washing machine was repaired.
Having our breakfast in the cafe we either smelled fresh paint or feel some dust as the place was still under repair. A couple of times neither coffee, nor tea were available as both machines were out of order.
Table tennis rackets as well as the ball we got at reception desk were damaged. After we bought these in a shop nearby, we found that the table itself was lousy and required to be replaced.
No Internet connection is available in the resort, while the nearest Internet-cafe has only one terminal with a super slow communication speed.
Finally, during check-out rather late at night, despite we had notified the personnel of early departure to Larnaka airport, we spent an hour with some unqualified assistant. At first he had tried to make us pay cash, then debited a wrong amount. It all resulted in a total mess resolved only in the morning, and we hardly caught our flight.
