Super 8 motel

Because we were only staying for the night, and we were on a tight budget, so we stayed at the Super 8 motel. I had called a week earlier to make sure the renting age was 18 and older (a lot of motels in the area are 21 and over) and to reserve a room, which was a good call because if we were to wait all the rooms would be booked up.
The motel was located right off of the highway and next to a gas station. We found that to be very convenient. The parking lot wasn''t very big and we could already tell that when everyone settles down to their rooms at night, it was going to be hard to find a spot.
The receptionist at the desk remembered me from a week earlier (I''ve never rented a room before so I was a bit confused, but she helped me and was very patient.) She led us to our room right away and gave us everything we needed. It was very friendly and quick, which we were happy about since we were quite tired from hours of driving.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The first thing we did was plop down on the beds and order a pizza to be delivered to our room. Right next to the phone was a list of pizza restaurants that deliver in our area, so the hardest thing we had to do was decide what to put on our pizza. We payed $75 for a room that fits four people (two double beds), which was a good price when split among everyone equally.
For $9 you can order a movie that your room''s television will automatically play, and they were pretty new releases so we, again, split the price among everyone and watched our movie with the pizza. Only for the next two hours would we be relaxing in our room. We left for the Mark of the Quad (a convention center where our concert was going to be) shortly and didn''t return until about 2:00 in the morning.
As far as motels go, this is a good one to stay in if you''re not staying very long and you''re on a budget. Easy access to the highway will have you on your way again easily, the next morning.
