Situated nicely for seeing the town, shopping, exploring markets, it has a front desk that can arrange tours, and an elevator or stairs to the rooms, which are clean and attractive 'mexican-style' chambers with lots of blankets for the Zacatecas nights. A single, smoking queen (albeit more like double) room cost MN$290. The windows were open, without screens, to a partially obstructed, but nice view. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful; the manager spoke some English, while others tolerated poor Spanish very well. There were no vending machines but there were convenience stores a short walk away, most of which were not open very late.
