The accomodations here were...interesting. They weren''t that bad, especially if you can get a room with a view of the water. The price was around $30/night. That includes a full size bed, of limited comfort. The most important thing, however, is to make sure that your air conditioning works if you are there in the summer. You can''t sleep with the windows open or these huge mosquitos will feast on you. Other than that, the Mythos (Greek beer) was cheap and the views from the back balcony were awesome. I found myself there many mornings thinking about how great it was to be there on the beach before work. The most important thing to remember is that even though I would give this a "Motel 6" rating, it is some of the best in Volos. As you can see in the second picture, I stopped eating the "Breakfast Buffet" after I got home late on night and saw the huge jelly bowl under the counter. Doesn''t that stuff go bad?!? The room also had these little 13" TVs, which, if you woke up around 1am or so, you might get to see some of the locals in ...ahem... action, with subtitles, which was quite hilarious.
