Best Things Nearby:
Several golf courses, fishing, and Splash Down water park are located in nearby Spring, Texas. Houston area attractions include Astro World, the Houston Zoo, and museums. Everything that one would need is in the immediate area: dining, retail shopping, grocery shopping, healthcare, automotive service, various activities, and, OF COURSE, a Super Wal-Mart.

Best Things About the Resort:
Private, quiet, peaceful, and on the lake. On-site amenities include a children's pool, fishing, a lake, laundry, a playground area, and a swimming pool.

Resort Experience:
Unit amenities include air conditioning, carpet, dishwasher, fireplace, kitchen, microwave, telephone, and washer/dryer. My particular unit, although a little dated, was a two-bedroom unit with a full kitchen, a half bathroom downstairs and two full bathrooms on the upper level, one each per bedroom. Pleasant and comfortable would best describe the unit itself.

We took a one-week specially priced RCI Bonus Vacation at a lake view resort with a marina next door. Water sports offered on Lake Conroe included water skiing and boating. There were several golf courses, fishing, and a Splash Down Water Park located in nearby Spring, Texas. Houston area attractions include Astro World, the Houston Zoo, and museums.

Our unit was a two-bedroom, full kitchen unit. The amenities included air-conditioning, dishwasher, fireplace, microwave, telephone, and washer/dryer. The unit, although a little outdated, was cozy and comfortable.
