Elm Lodge Hostel

This is a lovely hostel with friendly and helpful staff.. They will pick you up from the station or bus station, which is worth it as it's up the hill a ways... It's worth staying up here for the views and the peace and quiet. It's a magic bus stop, but not a kiwi bus, so the hostel is quite quiet but with people to go out with if wanted. It's video collection is second to none! There is a good variety of 2, 4 or 6 bed rooms, plenty of showers and a fair sized kitchen. I've been here a while already! The Lodge also runs an award winning nature tour to the peninsula which is under $50NZ for backpackers.
