The staff was very courteous. There was a pool table and a billiards table. There was no charge for using them. Our children really enjoyed it. The only thing that we felt missing was a decent mini mart at the resort. The existing one stored hard hardly anything. There was one mart about a 5- to 7-minute walk away. Another thing that bothered us was the red ants problem. They had got into the wardrobe and were inside all our clothes. But once we informed housekeeping about it, they took care of it.
We were in a group of 10 people. A tuk-tuk would take us all to either Jomtein Beach or Pattaya Beach for 80 Baht. I think it was a great place to stay for people not too fussy about staying on the beach road.

I loved the large rooms in our two-bedroom unit, especially our master bedroom. We could have put a small dance floor in there! It has a very spacious, airy feel to it. The two bedrooms had a connected balcony. We were fortunate enough to have a corner unit overlooking the pool, and each of our three rooms had an ocean view.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the guards, one outside and one at the elevator: they would always salute as we came and went. The hotel can arrange tours to various destinations, I would recommend using their booking services. If you try to go places or buy tickets on your own, and you’re an obvious tourist, the locals may often try to take advantage of you. (This is perfectly normal in Asia, it’s called "capitalism.")
I wish I could tell you about the massage services. We planned all week to have a Thai massage for 200 baht ($5). We kept putting it off because we were always going somewhere. The last day I thought we could work it in before dinner, but we got sunburned too badly so it never happened.
The kids especially enjoyed the pool, although it closed a little early (10pm), and they also have a nice restaurant that is reasonably priced with a great view.
