At just RM 10 a night for a dorm bed (four people), this place is a real bargain. Set on the banks of the river, we had amazing views of the surrounding area. If you are approaching the park from the river, you will see the red sign for the hostel from the boat, just a two-minute walk from the jetty.
The rooms are clean and mosquito nets are provided. There are communal western toilets and cold showers. There is a restaurant on site selling the usual mix of Malay and western food. It was a nice surprise to be able to have toast in the morning (RM2) and their pancakes are a must (RM2.5).
The atmosphere is very friendly and laid back. Being able to open the front door and look out onto the river was a real treat!
