0659 Regattas of Abaco

  • March 26, 2003
  • Rated 4 of 5 by Godschild from Chesterfield, Missouri
This hotel was newly refurbished with two-bedrooms, two-bathrooms, tiled floors, tiled baths, custom wood kitchen cabinets, and sleeps six people privately. The buildings are one or two story--no cement city here. Grounds are lush green and flowering. On the beach is the visual experience above most others, the second would be the top of the hill for the panoramic view, third would be looking down on the manicured, landscaped lawn, pool, and courtyard.

Located right on the beach. Great snorkeling. A wonderful island to relax and unwind at.

Resort Experience:
If you're looking for a quiet and relaxing resort this one's for you! The 2 BR units are clean, tastefully decorated with fully equipped kitchens. The beach area is small but adequate. There is a lovely large sun-deck that extends out over the water.

Hilton Resort

The bungalows at the Hilton resort were very nice. The air conditioner could have put out a little more cool air for our taste, but considering how close we were to the Equator ... it probably was doing the best job it could! The larger houses, on the other island, looked really neat, even though we never got to tour one of those. (Sorry about the price. I think this is close ... I really can't remember, but it MADE me enter a number...)
