Location is great, rooms good and as a plus the hotel is combined with a theatre. Also there are two restaurants. VanderValk, a dutch hotelchain, is famous for it''s ''appelmoes'' (a kind of cold apple-sauce which accompanies meals). On the top floor, this hotel also boasts and health and beauty salon.
The hotel is rather new, build only in 1997, so don''t expect history here. The only history about it is the scandal that accompanied the building, where the Government of Roermond sold the adjourning parking building for only 1 guilder to VanderValk (1 guilder is about 40 dollar cents).
