I have stayed at the resort before but this was our first visit in May. The resort is ideal for a quiet getaway! The resort’s web page will give you a good feel of the resort. I found the pictures and all of the verbiage to be very truthful. They are not exaggerating when describing the resort with words such as scenic, picturesque, and breathtaking.
The condo itself is quite large and very comfortable. And enjoyable. You can relax on the living room sofa watching TV or movies. The office rents movies (though we brought quite a few of our own) and we used the microwave to make a big batch of popcorn! Then with a nice fire, we settled in! Yes the evenings were very cozy!
The condo is just as nice during the day. You can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner inside or out! We spent a lot of the time on the deck, which overlooks the pond. It was very peaceful to sit out there just watching the scenery and the ducks.
We didn’t spend our entire time inside the condo. It was great just walking around the complex. There are many timeshare condos in the complex but they are spread around so it was not crowded. I believe most overlooked parts of the pond. In addition there are some year-round residences that center around a lake. We walked around that property also. The web site advertises 200 acres!
Besides walking, we also spent time playing tennis on the beautiful clay courts. It was a little windy but we had the place to ourselves. We also spent time in the clubhouse, which houses the large indoor pool, a hot tub, a wonderful library, an exercise room, and a bookcase full of games!
If you stay at this resort in the winter, skiing is nearby and the pond is great for ice skating. No matter when you stay, the location is great since it is close to Lenox village and the outlets in Lee.
