Back in my college days when I couldn''t quite scrape together enough money for a B+B, I stayed at this glorified motel.
Best features:
Since it is directly on Tomales bay, terrific sunset strolls are available on the pier.
Has an attached restaurant "Barnaby''s On the Bay" so you don''t have to go far to dine.
Worst features:
Some rooms are very close to the road and thus can be noisy.
The room we stayed in was absolutely nothing special--generic even. Much better rooms might be available here, and granted, it''s been years since my stay, but I''ll continue staying elsewhere.
