Right at the bottom of the famous Mermaid Street, it is a short stroll from the centre of town. The rooms are comfortably furnished. The double rooms are better than the singles, which are on the small side. It is on two floors, with quite small, steep stairs between the two, so it is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. The breakfasts are served in what was once the old bar. There is the usual cereal and juice followed by a choice, including the usual full English, vegetarian version, continental, and one or two other options. Doubles are from £70, singles from £40. The owners are a mine of local information and can offer advice on places to eat and visit.
