Bryce Canyon Resort is located just 3 miles outside of Bryce. It has two on-site restaurants and numerous options for lodging. We chose to stay in their "lodge" instead of the usual hotel room, as it was off season and we got a very good rate.
The room we got was just like a small house, with a living room/kitchen, a sleeping room with two queen beds, and a clean bathroom. The lodge can sleep up to six people, as the sofa in the living room can be converted into a bed. The office has a small gift shop as well. Also included in the stay was wireless internet and a complimentary breakfast.
If you don't like the food at the restaurant, Ruby's Inn is just 2 miles down the road. I may choose to stay here again; however, the Ruby's Inn seems like a more happening place, as it has its own full service restaurant, gift shop, convenience store, and concierge.
