Lodges at The Auchrannie Country House

Fantastic. The Auchrannie Country House is an excellent hotel, with a complete fitness center, covered heated pool, manicured rose garden, 2 restaurants, a masseuse & aromatherapy. The Lodges are actually individual small houses (time shares, but available for rent), clustered around a lawn area with an attractive duck pond. We opt for this because you get a complete kitchen (totally equipped), dining room, 2-3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a spacious living room and balcony &/or patio (some are 2 story). The prices listed are for the Lodges and may be less for the hotel itself. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance of the Brodick downtown area and the pier. Two good supermarkets are in Brodick. The 'Good Neighbor Shop', a combination tea room and fresh foods shop, is quite near The Auchrannie, and has a great supply of fresh made breads, fresh salmon and other fish, fresh veggies, herbs, etc. and even Arran-made cheeses (the oak-smoked cheddar is my personal favorite).
