rooms vary in size, location and price. Ask a lot of questions about available discounts. American Express is usually one of them. We've stayed in so many different rooms in this hotel, that I think we've had a pretty good idea of what they are like. The first floor gives you the convenience of location to the lobby, pools and restaurant, but no view. If a view is important to you, make sure that you say so when you book and get that on your reservation record. The hallways are very long so if a long walk from the elevator is a problem for someone in your party, make that clear also. There are a limited number of 'smoking' rooms. The restaurant is excellent, especially the soups and breakfasts. The service in the bar is very good also.
