THE LEGENDS is straight out of Sleepy Hollow! "SCARY"! Dirty, dilapidated, roach-infested, disgusting, AWFUL!!! Drove 12 hours to celebrate 20th anniversary. When we arrived in McAfee, locals laughed when we told them we were staying at "The Legends". Boards missing on side of building, dirty and stunk to high heaven. Holes in ceilings, roach traps in rooms, trash along the hallways. Toilet in lobby men's room did not work, but the potty mouth on the attendant worked just fine.

Resort Experience:
The units are large. The elevator was not working on the 6th floor -- this is a pain. Windows & sliding glass doors had no screens. The swimming pool was empty, and the staff not very friendly.

We had a two bedroom unit. The units were very large and overlooking the golf course. We were on the 6th floor. The elevator didn't work. The windows and sliding glass doors didn't have screens. The pool was empty. The air conditioner had to be repaired 3 times. The staff was not very friendly. There is a lot of potential for this property, but it was in desperate need of repair when we traveled. It looks like it was very nice at one time.

The rooms are beautiful.
Resort Experience:
In the winter, activities include skiing/snowbaording/tubing at Mountain Creek. The rest of the year you can golf, swim, hike, horseback ride, or go the the water park.

Very clean rooms and friendly service, Beautiful views of the river. I only stayed one night here so i didnt get a chance to explore around.
