This is great but expensive. They have hammocks with mosquito netting for rent that are really cheap, though. You can camp there, too. Just don't get a bungalow.

I would highly suggest you stay in a nearby city like El Remate or Flores. El Remate is only 20 minutes away and is very, very cheap compared to Tikal.

A nice little hotel, with clean rooms and functional plumbing. The rooms run around $13 a night, and it''s located right off the main road into town. A good bargain.
