This is not far from the train and bus stations, as its adverts say - but do not be fooled. There is a short but very steep hill before you arrive and I think many people will find a taxi worthwhile when they go with their luggage.
Once there, it is ideal and seems like a more expensive place. As the address suggests there is a park immediately outside with a stretch of water on which swans are frequently to be seen. Most rooms look out on this and all are en-suite.
The panelled breakfast room is delightful and the breakfast itself is very good, enabling you to eat enough for a very light lunch to suffice.
