You stay here for its Hastings Street location (and for the air conditioning, in our case). It's on the opposite side to the beach and tends to be a little cheaper then most other Hastings Street hotels. I have stayed here twice without having booked ahead, so it tends to have availability when everything else is full. Rooms are very comfortable, clean, and reasonably modern.
