Muyana Lodge

Muyana is an excellent lodge upstream from Iquitos. It is one of the most remote lodges, taking 3 hours by speedboat to arrive there. The lodgings are in private primitive cabins with private shower and toilet. The entire lodge has no electricity and is very charming. The food is absolutely fantastic and consists of mainly local foods. Our guide’s name was Naycer and we couldn't have asked for a better one. Of the dozen or so lodges available, I think Muyana gives an excellent experience at a budget price.
