The accomodations at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbollini were magnficent. This is a 5 star luxery hotel. We had stayed at other 5 star hotels in Italy and this is the only one that I feel was worth the price. The hotel truly did everything right. You have the feeling that you are actually staying an an 18th Century Palace.
The hotel has many amenities such as Tennis Courts, Fitness Center, indoor and outdoor pool, etc. Since our stay was only two days we didn't get the opportunity to take advantage of most of them.
One very nice touch is every night in the hotel's bar a classical trio performs. It gives just the right touch for the atmosphere.
One thing to note is the hotel is very formal even for a luxury hotel. Most people are dressed up even for breakfast. But despite this it does not feel stuffy at all.
