Accommodation is very basic - the houses vary in size depending on your family. In some cases the house is just one room, in other cases there is 3 or 4 small separate rooms. You will be given a bed made from boards and a foam mattress. All houses have an outhouse, but beware it is really basic. Privacy can be a problem, but it isn''t all bad, in most cases you will have a great view of the mountains, but no door or walls. Washing depends in the dry season because water is very short at times. The closest water can be a 2 hour walk away. So you will be going with out washing as everyone does. In the wet season when there is plenty of water around, washing is possible. Just ask. Most houses are very basically built and it is quite a step back in time to stay in one. It is enjoyable with the simple houses, and there are great views that leave quite an impression.
